Ingle recently released a new book, “The Inferno: A Southern Morality Tale,” which chronicles the trial, imprisonment and execution of Philip Workman for a murder he did not commit. 

Our documentary At the Death House Door focused on another prison chaplain turned anti-death penalty activist, Carroll Picket. Deeply affected by the experience of presiding over 95 executions, in particular that of Carlos De Luna, Pickett began to speak about against the death penalty after his retirement.
